T.C. and Mona

That Mona was one foxy and sexy momma! I just loved the scenes where T.C. (The Fly) was trying to make his moves on her. The final scene they had was perfect. What T.C. said to Mona really set her straight. She couldn't refuse his charm.

"If you're waitin' for some prince on a horse to come in here and sweep you off your feet, well it's not gonna happen. I'm your prince. Nobody digs you more than I do. You know that. And if you don't start treating me right, then I won't be comin' around here no more. And those concert tickets I have for tonight? If you aren't comin' with me, I'll find me someone who will."

Right on T.C., you big afro mustachioed fool.

i thought for years as a child in the '70's,that Mona the waitress was played by Jayne Kennedy. They both are sexy!

I wonder what she's doing now. It would be nice to hear about her. Also way didn't she make it big, I saw her on Love Boat and she did a good job there. I've seen acting a lot worst and they're still acting, I hope that she just chose to stop acting.

Nothing recent but if you want to see her naked booty, rent "Running Scared" with Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal. She was the girlfriend.....and STILL FINE!

-That's all the time we have, thanks for playing.

Right on. Loved that last scene with them. VERY touching.

I saw this recently on the "Centric" movie cable channel and that scene really bugged me because I felt Mona had every right to refuse a date with the underachieving, sad sack T.C. I don't think Mona was necessarily waiting on a prince charming, I think she just wasn't interested in T.C.'s sorry ass. It was really sad to see Mona give in to T.C's dime store ultimatum.

He was an ass and deserved to be treated like one with those tired mutton chops. She dated him once and apparently figured he was full of *beep* like his friends thought. This movie is a joke that is continuing to play on in new movies.

Well uh, if T.C. dug her the most, that says a lot. Mona must not have been all that, let alone deserving a 'prince charming'. She was probably the reason why their first date didn't go that well. In fact, it probably only went poorly to her, not to T.C. She probably thought she was too fancy-schmancy for a guy like him. Typical.

I disagree. This was the only thing I didn't like about this movie. It was too unrealistic.

They make it seem as if Mona had no other choice but to go out with TC, but that was bull. Mona was fine as hell and could have had any man she wanted.
