The least faithful but most fun Burroughs adaptation.

The Land that Time Forgot was the most faithful and accurate adaptation of the book but it was a bit slow. We didn't get into the Land until halfway through the picture.

The People that Time Forgot was only 50/50 in its accuracy and I was not impressed at all.

This film was very unfaithful in many ways but it was lively and fun.

Instead of a hollow earth teeming with Dinosaurs and Mastodons and Sabre-tooth Tigers they instead are in a continent sized cavern filled with bizarre creatures that never lived in the upper world.

It was fun, and let's face it, there's no way they could have done Pellucidar accurately in 1976.

Maybe it's time to try again?

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure you're not Hitler.
