Don't listen to these people. Assault is a great stoned movie. Watch it baked all the time, last night actually. It's when I'm stoned do I realize how close quarters and powerful the movie is. Very claustrophobic and such. A quality film. Terrific score.

Me too, I'm starting to see this more as a urban western than anything else
shareBack in my pot-smoking days, I tried watching this film while high and it just didn't work for me. Granted, it made the first half that much more intense, but the second half completely lost and bored me. To me, this isn't the sort of film to watch when you're stoned.

shareI watched it completely sober, and yeah, one of the most awesome movies ever made. I'm happy I don't need crappy substances in order to enjoy great movies.
Low budget film director, punk rocker at heart.
Nobody needs crappy substances, ever. But the good *beep* is pretty perfect in the right situation. I'd watch this movie stoned, if I got stoned lol. I don't so a glass of good red wine while watching this was very nice ^_^
People hating on each other online for doing/not doing drugs/etc is so boring and played out lol.
