The Muppet Show has stood the test of time much better than SNL.

Old SNL falls flat at times. I also consider it a sweet little victory to vaudeville, and The Muppet Show episode with Milton Berle is entertaining!

I have never watched SNL but I agree that the Muppet show for me at least is still as wonderful as ever, just watched on you tube Harry Belafonte doing the Bannana boat song and then his closing number turn the world

Lets not forget the Muppets were all over the place during the first season of SNL, lol.

OH, I don't know; first season SNL is still pretty strong, though many references are dated. SCTV holds up better than SNL, as it is more character driven.

SNL hasn't been good in decades. This and Fraggle Rock mop the floor with anything on TV today.
