This is strange--season 1 and 3 all provide the lyrics to the musical numbers in captions and subtitles, but season 2 does not do this? Can anyone explain why?

I have a deaf brother and sister who enjoyed the first season a lot and are upset they're missing about half of the episodes.

Hi,
The Muppet Wikipedia site has this explaination:-

"Due to different cost and purchase processes for music lyrics, the spoken dialogue is captioned but the song lyrics are not."
