Best season (of the first three) to start with?

I was originally planning on getting Season 3, for both the Alice Cooper episode and that I presumed the series would have found its footing at this point. However I just got done watching the sampler disc that came with the new movie, which came with the Alice Cooper episode, and also it seemed like Season 3 was more "musical," with Seasons 1 & 2 being more skit oriented. That was more or less what I had envisioned The Muppet Show being :/ (yeah this was also the very first time I've seen the show :D)

At the moment I'm leaning more towards Season 2 since thats when Beaker (one of my favorite characters) is introduced, but surprisingly so the Season 1 matterial seemed to be the strongest :/ For all I know Season 3 could actually be the best, I just figured I'd ask the fans who've seen more than six episodes, and of course have had four years to rewatch the sets awaiting the fourth :D
