That was noted on one particular episode of The Muppet Show. That was a great deal, but I don't know how they managed to stay in business with no profit to pay the theater bills and Muppet salaries. They probably got their income from the commercials on TV. I'm just wondering if Kermit & Company were 'Unionized'?

It was also indicated Fozzie didn't receive a salary, although Miss Piggy did and one episode involved Kermit having trouble scraping up the money to make the monthly payroll.

It is mentioned in an episode that Scooter's Uncle owns the theater and lets the Muppets use it.
