I know the last season without Shirley was still aired under the title "Laverne & Shirley", but I seem to remember a few of the last episodes airing under only the title "Laverne". ( I'm not sure if those were the last few original first-run or the last few reruns which aired on the ABC network during that season).
Or am I misrembering?
I don't remember changing the name of the show after Cindy Williams left. They really could have renamed it "The Laverne Show" or "Laverne & Company".

shareFirst season was always titled Laverne Defazio & Shirley Feeney. The 2nd season and after was always Laverne & Shirley until when the show went into syndication on WGN in the early 80's when ABC was still airing new episodes. The syndicated title was Laverne & Shirley& Company
