I have a question about David L. Lander who plays Squiggy on the show? Does he have downs syndrome? I'm not saying this to be mean or anything but, his facial features resemble that of a person with downs syndrome. Maybe he doesn't have it but, he sure looks like it. Could anyone help me out with this answer?

No, he does not have Down Syndrome.
He does, however have Multiple Sclerosis.
That's really sad that he has MS. How bad is it?
Annette Funicello has MS, too. I love all of her Beach movies. She is probably the most famous case because she is vocal about it. Does anyone know how she's doing?

My mother always thought too that he had a touch of Down's syndrome. I have to admit that he sort of has that "look."

I think David Lander made those faces trying to act funny. I don't think he made faces like that when he was off camera and out of character.
