I'd buy that dvd.

If they did, it would probably be called Laverne on Shirley.

The porn version would be Laverne & Surely. Carmine would be The Big Goo. The problem with porn versions is that porn is seldomly intentionally funny.

for the porn parody of "Happy Days". It is on youtube so it is clean. Can a "Laverne & Shirley" parody be far behind?

"Laverne & Shirley" was a spin off of "Happy Days" and a lot of fans like both shows. John-Anthony Baily played Sticks Downey on two episodes of "Happy Days". "Fonzie's New Friend" was one of my favorite episodes. Downey was also Cousin Cleatus on "Good Times". He might be best known for the kids show "Wonderbug". Around 1983 he started appearing in adult films using the name Jack Baker. In 1994 he died penniless of bladder cancer. He was cremated and buried in a mass grave. I am sure Bailey was not the first actor to fall on tough times and end up in porn. But he may have the most mainstream acting credits. Please click on

I don't know about that, but it is interesting that just as Laverne & Shirley was getting underway, Cindy Williams had just finished work in The First Nudie Musical, which was a comedy about a financially struggling studio that is forced to make a musical comedy porn film to stave off bankruptcy. It's been years since I've seen it, but I remember that it was fairly explicit although Williams does not do any nudity or sex scenes herself.

Also prior to L&S, Williams had a key role in the Francis Ford Coppola surveillance film The Conversation, starring Gene Hackman, which has become a classic of '70s intrigue and paranoia. I had first seen it after I'd watched L&S, and I was quite surprised--and skeptical--to see her in it, but she does pretty well.
