Don't fall for bootleg copies of 'Family'

Just like most of you, I cannot wait for the rest of the seasons of "Family" to be released. However, there is a website out there that claims to sell ALL FIVE seasons as a set for $149.99. The site is allmyfavoriteshows.com, but BEWARE!!!!...I did a quick search and found many complaints about this company. Not all the DVDs they sell are originals, instead, they are copies of shows recorded from TV (but of course they dont warn you about that!). Others complain about placing orders, never receiving the items, and then being unable to reach anyone for help. So, be patient and let's hope that SONY releases the following seasons. That way you can purchase them from legitimate retailers such as Amazon.com or many others.

Yes I have been tempted by this offer. I almost gave in last week but then I read your post. allmyfavoriteshows.com is one of many such online companies -- I ordered the complete series of "Mama's Family" from tvboxsets.com and although I did receive them, they were taped directly from TV and some episodes are missing. I too hope Sony comes out with the other seasons of "Family." I loved the show.

I've tried to order them (on two separate occassions during 2008) from www.dvdavenue.tv but never got them. Just bootleg copies anyway I hear. Those guys suck. Sony please help us!
