i don't like the other hosts... he should make a comeback
and do the feud again

Karn was NOT the next best. Ray Combs and John O'Hurley are 1000 times better.

Richard Dawson is the King of Family Feud it will always be his show.

Ray Combs ok he did a great job but he's not Dawson

Anderson, Lord Have Mercy that version Sucked,Along with Karns.

John O'Hurley is ok,I just wish he had a better set.

But Family Feud should of lasted from 1976-1995.

I'm glad they got a more traditional Family Feud set. I been waiting for them to do that ever since the resurected (sp?) FF in 99. The Louie and Karn sets really sucked and looked like a interior or a Daycare center. The O'Hurley set has a more traditional board, face-off podium, family back ground, and opening spiel. The only things they need to do with O'Hurley's feud is make the stage a little bigger, get rid of those people and their signs on the sides of the big board this is NOT American Idol, and MOST IMPORTANTLY BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL MUSIC! It can be any version from the Golden Years (1976 -1995) OR better yet record a new version of the original theme song. If they can do it for "Jeopardy!" and the sucky drew Carey's Price is Right they can do it for Family Feud.

I used to think that when the Loiue and Karn versions aired BUT now since they got a better host and more traditional set (only thing they need now is more traditional music) I hope it continiues for 20 years. With the music as the only thing that would be changed.

I highly doubt it would last another 20 years. But who knows?

I think that Family Feud has been re-vamped a little too much. I have to say I like John's version better then both Anderson's and Karn but really the set is odd, but better then what it used to be 1999-2006.

First was the little tiny screen that had the families name on it. Anderson said he hated the box they came out of. Which was stupid because that's what made the show what it was,the Family Room. To me Anderson's version looked like it wasn't completed all the way.

The Karns Version had that Big-Ass screen with just the family name on it.And the Board was too high up.

The Music is another thing, They need to bring back the Music used for 16 years and used for a short while on Karn's version. The Famous theme of all.

Like I said no one can really replace Richard Dawson and no one can replace Bob Barker.

Richard Dawson and Ray Combs were tied to me, they both had differences that made them awesome. Richard Karn sucks and is boring and has no personality, Louie seemed bored and uncomfortable, this new host O'Toole or whatever seems ok, I like him, but he can never be Ray or Richard!

Dawson was brought back out of retirement for the 1994-1995 season

Yeah, I think that bringing back Dawson was a mistake. Why Jonathan Goodson? Why? If you never fired Ray Combs, maybe he would still be alive and making us laugh today like he did back in the day.

Me and I'm sure a whole bunch of other people miss you dearly!

And it wasn't even Combs fault Family Feud went down in ratings. CBS thought the show needed a "face lift" so they got that Bullseye round for the daytime version and then they just had to add that dammed Bullseye round to the syndicated show. The producers should have payed attention to what Wheel of Fortune did by removing the shopping from the syndicated version to make the game go faster. CBS should have taken the Bullseye round out of the Feud when they saw ratings go down. If CBS was unwilling to budge they should have just cancelled the show with Combs in 1994 because J. Goodson's host change was not the solution.

Yeah, and J. Goodson made a huge mistake firing Ray Combs! I just hate having to have Combs feel the pain of getting replaced, by the man who he originally replaced. Also, if they did cancel the show in 1994 maybe Combs wouldn't be so insulted and still alive today, because if my memory serves me correct, I think Ray's firing from Family Feud was part of the reason he killed himself.

Family Feud was part of the reason Ray killed himself, but Ray had gotten into a terrible accident that left him temorarily paralized from the neck down. He became very depressed after the accident and THAT was the main factor that killed him. Not to mention after the accident he fell into debt, had to close his comedy clubs, and got a divorce. And he didn't have Family Feud or a family help him with his depression. His wife left took the kids with her.

So I'm assuming, this was after Ray's firing from "Family Challenge" as well. Yeah, I heard about that I also heard that he went back to his wife's house and he was knocking on the door nonstop, telling his wife to let him in, but his wife nor his kids wouldn't let him in, because he was acting crazy. He's put into the hospital, he calls his parents and tells them to get to the hospital quickly. They get there and by the time they're there he already hung himself. I just remember one of my friends from school told me that and it was like 10 years ago or so, that he told me, but I remember it. It is sad, but I think that's how he told it, it was something like that, it was 10 years ago he told me. What was the accident that got Ray paralyzed from the neck down? Car Crash?

I thought Ray left Family Challenge because he killed himself. And yes he was in a car accident.

From what I heard "Family Challenge" really wasn't Ray's thing,I think he died a little later,but I could be wrong. I remember watching "Family Challenge" then later hearing on the news that Ray Combs killed himself.

Someone close to Ray said they watched Family Challenge once and "It wasn't Ray". Family Challenge wasn't his thing and his heart wasn't in it. They also noticed how Ray kept forgetting the score and saying "I'm a bit rusty".

Family Feud will always be his thing, and I heard he hung himself after he got fired from "Family Challenge?" Who knows what happened with him and Family Challenge, he will always be remembered by him with him and "Family Feud." I like John O'Hutley but no will be good as Ray. Ray will always be my favorite, then John O'Hurley is next. Then it was Dawson, Karn and Anderson.

Although I liked Ray Combs I liked Richard Dawson a little better,both guy was great. John O'Hurley is another great host, although I don't care much for the new set or that party theme that's been around since Anderson's version,but I have to say this O'Hurley's set is better then the last two.

O'Hurley's Feud is the best version since in came back in 1999. I used to never watch Anderson and Karn. The only thing that got me watching Karn's Feud was 1.) he was an improvement over Louie but that's not saying much and 2.) They used the original feud theme fror his first season.

I watched Louie Anderson's version a number of times because it was "Family Feud" a show I used to like,I didn't like his version really,and I didn't like Karn's, because Karn to me was a bore to watch,so was Anderson. Even Howard Felscher who was a producer for Family Feud from 1976-85,and 1988-95,didn't like Anderson.

O'Hurley set may be like the traditonal set but it would look better with better furniture in the box,and brought back the old theme that was used on Dawson,and Combs version. Heck they could use the 1994-95 theme it could work.

I like the music "Family Feud" plays now. I have no problem with it, of course it would be if they brought the original theme music back though. Definitely.

Besides the music on "The New Family Feud" I think the question they ask are kinda dumb, I have ION TV and they show reruns of Family Feud with O'Hurley and I really haven't seen a episode when a family won 20,000 in Fast Money.

I have that channel too, but I've never been able to watch an episode of it on TV, but when I get the chance I will. By the way, O'Hurley's feud is coming to GSN very soon. I'm happy about that! They now have another feud to show. Thank goodness too! They were showing way too much Karn!

If you didn't like Anderson or Karn versions of Feud why did you watch it? I hated those version and watched Dawson and Combs reruns on GSN. Until O'Hurley's version, I considered Family Feud dead since 1995. Those 1999- early 2006 years are a bad joke. In September 2006 the REAL Family Feud came back.

Also they should ditch that pisspoor techno theme they used since 1999. If they want a techno theme why don't they use the unaired techno remix of the 88 version of "The Feud". Or just create a new theme that uses the melody of "The Feud". That's the one good thing about Dawson's second version, gthey still used the melody of "The Feud" in the main theme.

Noticed I said a number of times meaning a few, I watched when Anderson took over the job in 1999 then I watched when Karn took over,only in the beginning I didn't watch the show regularly. I flipped pass once and seen the soap opera stars on Karn version,and I thought "Wow this sucks". Back when Combs had the CBS soap stars on the show for a week long special all the soap stars was having fun espcially Doug Davidson to see a few minutes with Karn.Those soap stars looked like "Oh Gee I have to do this again?",because a number of the stars that was on Karn's version was on Combs version.

With O'Hurley as the host "Family Feud" is better,O'Hurley is like the best host since Richard Dawson (referring to 1994-95 version) The show is actually good again,I watch O'Hurley's version on ION TV and like it,It's a bit annoying at times with the questions and Burton Richardson, the announcers for the shows he uses corny introductions for O'Hurley but the show is good. It will never be as great as 1976-1985,1988-1995,but it is "The Feud" again.

Just get rid of that damn music! LOL

About "no one can replace dawson" I am glad that there are other hosts. Richard Dawson may be popular but he and Bob Barker are terrible.
