I CANNOT watch this because
The contestants keep saying 'GOOD ANSWER!' to each other!!! WHYYYY??
what do they think will happen, the person will break down cuz the answer's wrong?? SHUT UP!
ugh...too bad, I'll just watch Jeopardy

It is funny that at the end of each round everybody including the audience all together says the answers that weren't guessed. It would be hilarious if the answers were very very long.
Don't go watch Jeopardy!; They are too intellectual and think they are too good for running lights. BORING!!

Ah, someone else did mention this on here. I started a new topic about something I'd like to see about that. I think they are told to do that no matter how dumb the answer is and it probably doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of showing up. Love to see SNL make fun of that.
shareI can't watch it because the contestants are morons. Some of the answers they give are mind boggling.
shareThat is the exact reason me and my friends want to be on the show. They say good answer to absolute awful answers and its so funny. Whenever one of us says something stupid we always yell, good answer! good answer!
shareLol, I know exactly what you mean! I'm actually gonna be on Family Feud this upcoming season, and from the auditions and interviews with the producers where we played a mock version of the game, they said to say "good answer" to ANYTHING, even if you wanna punch them in the side of the head because it's so stupid. That's why I'm gonna definitely use that to my advantage and make sure to say that when my family gives ridiculous answers. I'm expecting it to be pretty interesting. :)
shareDo they also make you high five each other every time?...That is so unnatural and annoying, I just wouldn't do it.
Funniest ever was an SNL skit where the Dawson guy went to kissJackie Kennedy and she just looked revolted and put up a hand.
Saw a clip of that just recently.
I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.
I figured the families must be directed to do it, because there's no way you'd see EVERY family doing this, day after day, year after year, without at least some families saying "What the hell was THAT answer?".
shareI'm gonna repeat another response here:
Try watching "Are You Smarter than a Fifth-Grader" sometime. All that support for the stupidest answers and some of the most ignorant people on Earth...but boy, is that show popular in the red states. Seriously.

shareSometimes on 5th Grader after a dumb answer, you can spot a friend of the contestant with an obviously pained expression, but still applauding. Obviously, they're clapping because they've been directed to do so. As I recall, everyone (including the contestants) on Wheel of Fortune applauds the wheel for spinning. Let's give a big hand to angular momentum!
On the other hand, on the daytime Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, I've seen Meredith Viera admonish the audience for applauding an answer before it's revealed to be correct or not. On Jeopardy! I think you only get applauded in the middle of a game for getting a Daily Double right or running an entire category.
