Rank Every Host From Best To Worst

Forgive me if this topic has been posted, I figured it would but all I saw was one that was asking which one is the best.

1. Richard Dawson-What really needs to be said, he had the charisma, he had the humor, he had the charm, and, although this may be more of a credit to the 70's, he was a ladies man always smooching the lookers. He was the original host, but even if he wouldn't have been the first, I still think he would have been the best.

2. Steve Harvey- Apparantly there are a lot of people on here who don't like Harvey, but I love the fact he isn't afraid to make fun of bad answers. He also isn't afraid to look at the camera and make funny faces. Honestly I think he has really gave the show an edge it's been missing since the Dawson years.

3. Ray Combs- What the guy lacked in personality he made up for it with his energy and enthusiasm. He seemed to enjoy it-for a while- but it was obvious in his final season that he was frusterated with the lack of intelligence in some of the contestants and possibly with the production and direction of the show, and that irked me. Still, for most of the time he was a fun host.

4. Richard Karns- Real nice guy, and it was nice seeing Al Borland get a nice steady gig as the host. But, he was afraid to make fun of contestants (usually he had a few moments but seemed afraid to act offensive, which is what makes Dawson and Harvey so good) and didn't really add anything to the show.

5. John O'Hurley- See Richard Karns, except even more boring and seemed to just go through the motions. Likeable host though, and I have nothing bad to say about the guy, just not super entertaining.

I am leaving out Louie Anderson in my list because I haven't seen enough epsiodes with him as the host and it seems like it is rare to see his eps on GSN.

They're only noodles, Michael!

1. Richard Dawson - has to be, classic, very intelligent and funny guy.

2. Steve Harvey - this guy has re-ignited this great show. He brings a lot of life and energy to the show and is hilarious. The show had dipped for ahwile, he has brought it back.

3. John O'Hurley - dry humor, but very viewer friendly, low key personality, enjoyed his hosting

4. Richard Karns - he is funny at times, but agree that he seemed hesitant and was conservative in his humor, thought he could have brought more humor, likeable, but a notch below the others.

5. Ray Combs - funny, quirky guy, never appealed a ton to me, i like the more recent guys better.

6. Louis Anderson - I don't recall his episodes to well, but from what I do remember who still likely leave him at the bottom of the list. He is a clever and solid comedian, I just think the others did a better job with the show.

1. Steve Harvey: He makes me laugh on every episode. He seems so REAL and approachable. I wouldn't mind if he made fun of my answers. Steve looks like he smells great, too!

2. Richard Karns: I'm attracted to him: his personality and his looks. He seems very nice.

3. Richard Dawson: That middle-aged Englishman could have kissed this woman anytime. :-)

4. Ray Combs: Like you said, he was energetic. Goodness knows, things should have gone so much better for him. He seemed like a nice guy ...

5. John O'Hurley: He seemed stuck on himself, even if he was kidding about it. One time when a female contestant expressed nervouseness, he said something like, "That's understandable; you're in the presence of greatness." He laughed, but he probably believed it.

6. Louie Nye: It seemed like he was presiding over a funeral rather than hosting a game show.
