HUH?

I havent watched this in eons but am catching it tonight. When did they start with the weird wording of the answers?

Question was "what would you be shocked to find in your grandmother's night stand?" Someone said condoms and the written answer was "weenie beanies". Another guess was recreational drugs and the answer was "a fat doobie"(so if they would have guessed Michael McDonald, would that have counted LOL). Another answer was a sex toy and what was revealed was "a chick stick". I just found it strange!

It's a family show, so they do those type of things to make it sound cleaner.

A family show? I suspect it was just an attempt to appease the standards department.

reply

You're right. Family Feud's target audience isn't families.

reply

No, I don't think families were the target audience, but it probably still had a lot of people of all ages watching it because it had broad appeal.

reply

True, a lot of people like and watch this show. But I think this is a game that you like to play with a group of people at your house (which is usually family) or sometimes friends.
