Yes, even aside from obvious health concerns, I found that to be pretty creepy.

Apparently he did it for luck. You could argue it is gross but the women were right into it and one panel of women even made sure they all kissed him!

Back then it wasn't considered creepy. Richard Dawson was just considered affectionate. Funny thing is he married one those women he kissed.
