I remember in the 70's, it was known as 'Baa Baa Black Sheep', but later in syndication it was renamed 'Black Sheep Squadron'.
Did anyone else feel dumb just trying to use the title 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' in a sentence?
The show was called Baa Baa Black Sheep in its first season. It was cancelled. The brought the show back for a second season and changed the name to Black Sheep Squadron. Network executives thought the original title made people think it was a kids show. When they syndicated the show they just stayed with the new name.
