I love this movie but the ending always bothered me. At the very end when you see CJ and Jerri driving down the road, is it to mean that they live happily ever after, so to speak or is it just a reference from earlier in the movie.
shareThere's a similar scene earlier in the film, but I'd have to go back and check to see if it's identical (making the end scene a flashback) or not. If they're wearing the same clothes, it's probably just a flashback.
To me, it seems a bit tacked on, almost as if people complained about the ending, so they played a happy driving scene over the credits.
If it *is* just a reference and not a new scene, then man, is this movie ever bleak!
