I was a fan of Pusser and this movie is fiction there was so many real things to make a movie about regarding buford pusser but they chose not to

If he had been alive to portray himself as planned the day he was killed it probably would've been closer to the truth, but with him gone they probably decided to go another way so as not to make it as painful for his family to watch as it had been for him to watch his wife's murder sequence in the first movie.
sharePretty hard to make it factual and not get your ass suing off by the families of those portrayed in a bad light.
