Based on "Six Days of the Condor"
Imagine the development meeting...
"No, no, six days is too many!"
Imagine the development meeting...
"No, no, six days is too many!"
I can imagine fans saying "It's going to be only half as good."
shareI listened to james grady on a podcast yesterday and he said what happened is the producers told the writers to take everything and dump it into screenplay form, then after that was done they went back to the beginning and counted and it ended up being three days. I found that interesting. They didn't know starting out how many days they had, i guess.
shareDespite the title, the book actually takes place over eight days. Lots of differences between the book/movie, it's a pretty loose adaptation. e.g. In the book the rogue CIA conspirators are smuggling heroin inside books and has absolutely nothing to do with oil or the middle east, and they really are rogue. There's no last minute plot twist that it was really a sanctioned black-op all along.
