I just bought that same set at WalMart yesterday. The Street Fighter movies are worth the $5.50 themselves.

I also got the original Assault on Precinct 13 for $5.50

reply

I just bought it, well, now it's yesterday-and all I really watched was "Street Fighter" and it was awesome! I hope the other 8 films are just as good.

Sincerely,
Exchronos

I bought that too, but before you watch "Fist Of Fury" be aware that although it says fist of fury, and shows the same intro, The rest of the movie is the film "The Big Boss".

is this the uncut version? i have one version that says it's 93 mins (which seems to be cut) and the one on the set says 90 mins.
does anyone know what all has been edited from the different versions and which would be the best to get?

reply

I have a version where there is "Street Fighter" On one side of the disc, and there is "Legend of the Eight Samurai" on the other.
It was about 7 bucks at Suncoast.

I went to wall mart and for $1 they have a dvd with "street fighter" and "the return of the street fighter." For a dollar. That's a truly great find. There's no special features or anything, but for 50 cents each it's well worth it.

THe DVD's the people were talking about at the begining of the topic were a set called "Martial Arts Masters" Its got over 13 houers of Action form some of the best Martial Artists from the early 70's to the mid 80's I highly recomend it and I got it for 5 dollars at target. Its a great deal.
Be Warned Thies Movies Are Verry brutal. Not for kids who think they can handle it.

Sh!t. I overpaid.

I got a dvd from Amazon themselves. The packaging looks totally different from what they advertised AND it says it's rated R, 90 mins from Brentwood Entertainment (I thought they had released the unedited version, but if it's rated R - that pretty much means I'm f ucked). Returning this sh!t is such a hassle, I might as well buy it again later on if it comes out in a better edition.

I just bought the same set for 5.50 at Walmart....what a steal.

I just bought this last weekend. What's funny is that they included the full X-rated version of the Street Fighter but labeled it as R, probably without realizing their mistake. Or maybe they just wanted to be able to sell it at Wal-Mart while still giving diehard martial arts fans the violence they crave!
Either way, it's an awesome deal.
