They should make a movie called "The Stepford Husbands".

That would be a great satire on today's woman and her castrated male.

There are current social trends to support it. Almost 60% of college graduates are now female.

That could actually be a good idea (if it was executed correctly...)!

Thank you! Good catch: will have to watch that...

reply

I watched it back in the day when it was new. Made for TV movies were still a thing back then. Not as big a thing as they were in the '70s and '80s, but still a fairly big thing. Just don't ask me to remember any of it LOL πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

I'm screenwriting a film called "The Stepford Gays" about same-sex marriage.

reply

VERY FUNNY.πŸ™„

reply

"The Stepford Gays" is a meme I've been using for 20 years now. Haha. I can think of no better way to describe all that is wrong with fey marriage.

What would an ideal android husband be, for a thirty-something woman?

Tall?
Athletically muscular?
Large penis (with built-in vibrating action)?
Programmed to perform cunnilingus?
Speak only when spoken to, and always agree?
Programmed to do all household chores without being asked?
"Badboy"--"Niceguy" toggle switch?
Ability to obtain large amounts of money?

reply

So would these "castrated males" willingly help with the household chores?

reply

They probably do yardwork, household repairs, cook chili, and do minor repair work on the car.

reply

That sounds fabulous!! It's also great when husbands are strong and can easily move heavy furniture from one part of the house to another!

reply

Oh, they can also do backyard barbecue.

reply

No, that seems to be what men naturally want to do. I would say, have the husbands offer to watch the kids all the time while the wives go shopping and to get their hair done.

reply

Well The Stepword Wives were cliche stereotypes. So the Husbands would have to be so too. They'd probably work in construction or other manly trades and bring home the bacon.

reply

No, No...careers in high tech.

reply

Those manual laborers make big money. The dock workers at the Port of LA make 60 bucks an hour. Fucking unions.

reply

They did in 1996

reply

Yeah, April informed me. But it was a made-for-tv movie with a low rating from IMDb. So pablum. Oh well.

Someone needs to do a really good one. I'd like to see a feminist director take a crack at it.

reply

Greta Gerwig could do it!

reply

I'd see it!
