I was just wondering if SHIVERS has been tampered with now that it is on general release.
I have the 'David Cronenberg Collection' copy and a couple of, admittedly dodgy, scenes seem quite hastily edited:
> Where the old geezer gets off with his daughter
and
> where the guy is pinned to the ground and the little girl kisses him.
Does anyone know?

i just watched the "director's cut" dvd put out by image entertainment and it seemed pretty much the same at those parts
the old guy just kisses his daughter for a second and there's a cut
the little girl starts to kiss the guy in slow motion and then kisses him for a couple of seconds and that's it

Saw it on Comcast OnDemand on the Fearnet channel, and those two scenes were in it.
