Hi,

I vaguely remember a scene from a horror film that, as a kid, traumatized me !!!

A woman is taking a bath, we see the water flowing out of the faucet, and all of a sudden it turns red and there are leeches coming from it and the woman gets up screaming ...

Is that from Shivers ?

No, but there is a scene that does take place in a bath tub. A leech crawls out of the drain.

There is a movie called SLUGS that something like that happened, maybe that's it.

It's definatly NOT Night of the Creeps, I have seen that movie 100 times and no one is in a bathtub.

That scene is in this film...it is a parasite that crawls out of the drain...it looks like a leech...and it crawls into a body cavity of hers. The water turns red from blood.

eh it could be Shivers, in Shivers a woman is taking a bath, then a leech/slug/creature crawls out of the drain and moves its way into her crotch and then the water turns red as she freaks out in the tub

Sounds more like the scene from squirm. Theres only one leech from the drain on Shivers. There are a lot of them in Squirm

I was in college, loaded when I watched this, and it freaked me out more than just about anything I've seen before or since. Truly disturbing. I love Cronenburg!
