A New DVD... ever?

Will this ever get another release? This Image DVD has been Out of Print for a LONG time. it's about time this gets a new release!
Are there any plans for a new release at all?

this is just a wish but hopefully scream factory, arrow video, or criterion will at some point get their hands on it. shivers is def a cronenberg classic!

according to Wikipedia, lionsgate has announced the re-release of the film on dvd, not sure when it is being released though.

Good news man just looking at Amazon and there is indeed a new dvd/blu-ray being released later on this year by Arrow Films. I haven't bought any of their films but i have heard the transfers are usually pretty good.

I don't see it on Amazon. Arrow Films website has it as region 2.

Apologies i live in the U.K and saw the DVD/ Blu-ray on the U.K Amazon page... i thought Blu-rays were usually region-free though?

All of the DVD copies I've seen are outrageously expensive, so I had to settle for watching the movie on YouTube. It's on there as of now.
