APARTMENT FEATURES
These buildings feature studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. These bright and spacious suites include a fridge, stove, balcony (with certain suites) drapes, hardwood floors and storage area. Renovated suites upon availability.

BUILDING AMENITIES
Architect Mies Van der Rohe in the same spirit as 201 Corot designed these twin high rises except that these buildings have balconies. These 2 buildings feature a full 2-story lobby. Panoramic windows give way to breathtaking views of the St-Lawrence and the Montreal skyline. An indoor pool, sauna, laundry facilities and indoor garage are located in the buildings. Tenants may also use the in house gym for a small fee.

NEIGHBOURHOOD AMENITIES
Located on Nun's Island prime waterfront close to amenities such as shopping, grocery store, convenience store, recreation centre, bank, video store, and school. The Nuns' Island ecological forest, bike paths and parks are within footsteps. The 168 and 12 bus routes are in front of the buildings.

I did find those towers the last time I was in Montreal on a vaction last year. That would be a nice place to live, fairly safe neighborhood on Ile de sours (Nun's Island) less than five miles from 'Montreal centre-ville' (downtown Montreal). It's a little pricey for one or two-bedroom apartments, but if you're a fan of 'Shivers' I was slightly suprised to find the parking lot and the swimming pool area and interior of one of the towers unchanged in all the 35 years since the making of that movie. But English speaking Canadians and Americans with little or no knowledge of the local French language might find it a little hard to get around the area if you lived there. French is the predominate language for Quebec and is spoken by most everyone including all the minority groups as well who live there (blacks, Asians, Arabs and Middle Easterners, Indians, etc.) But at least I finally know where it is located now, and that's all I need.

matt-282, were you able to go into the building (Starliner)? Is it permanent residents living there or just people living there short term? I am going there in June next year and I really hope to take a little tour in Starliner. And keep fingers crossed that I will be able to try the swimming pool./Jim

I thought it was a bit ironic that they filmed a sex zombie film on a place called "Nun's Island"...LOL It's listed in the credits.

Thats great! Fancy living there! I'd be looking out for parasites everywhere!!!
