Music Question - Who did it?
The song at the end "Silent Eyes" by Paul Simon does not sound like his recording - it sounds like a sultry woman's voice. Does anyone know who actually recorded it?

A woman sings in part of "Silent Eyes" but Paul Simon sings as well. He recorded it and it's in the movie One Trick Pony.
shareI think there are (at least) two versions here. In Shampoo, there are no lyrics, just a guitar vocal noodling. I was sure I downloaded this song years ago, but can't find it. On 'still crazy', he adds words.
For some reason I associate the song as 'falling towards Jerusalem'. It may be listed in the credits that way, or, more likely, I am confusing it with something altogether different.
I've only heard the Shampoo version, and always loved its whistful sadness, leading up to the equally sad moment in the pool house. (when the refrigerator door opens and the light comes on)
