Goldie has everything - she is cute, funny, charming and would have played a better Jackie.
shareI agree. As much as I like Julie Christie, she didn't perform well in the movie. It's like she's going through the motions. Even Carrie Fisher was better than her.
shareI disagree with you all. Julie Christie was great and she is magnetic. Goldie was cast for the right role. Besides I don't think Goldie and Warren would have had the same chemistry Julie and Warren had in that poolhouse scene when that Paul Simon tune is playing in the background and they gaze at each other. That's the type of chemistry you can't fake. You also have to remember Christie's character was drunk through a lot of the movie and playing a golddigger not the charming bubbly light one you imagine Goldie as.
