EDITED DVD?
The DVD version has been definetely edited. I recall the version I saw on laserdisc had more nudity. Does anybody agree with me?

shareI'll let you know as soon as I see it, but I do know they have edited "A Clock Work Orange." The origional I saw on HBO years ago had part of a nude scene cut out.
Seems censorship is worse now than it was in the 70's
Absolutely! Not exactly "nudity" but there was definately less of Goldie knocking her knees together to expose her underwear. Thanks for your observation. At least somebody has watched this movie with the intensity that it deserves.
shareWhen Clockwork Orange first came out, my wife wrote worked at a Warner Brother's office in Cleveland. The deal to theatres was that the film would be exchanged every week, and the returned film would be examined for damages and cuts. A neighbor got in trouble with the studio because he was cutting out the parts he didn't like.
It is really sad that movies are being cut. I guess it is OK if it is labeled as such for certain viewing situations, but with all the furor there was over 'colorizing' movies, editing is MUCH worse!
As far as I can tell, two scenes have been tweaked. The "leg hitting" scene and the bathroom scene have been slightly edited. It makes no sense to trim these scenes, because they were always quite tame in the first place. In the original cut, Goldie Hawn swats her likes about a dozen times, now its all been cut in half.

is there any way to watch the full movie
