I know, classic films should NOT be remade. But I would love to see a remake of Shampoo. Here's the cast line-up:
*George - John Krasinski (The Office)
*Jill - Amy Adams
*Jackie - Heather Graham
*Felicia - Meryl Streep, Felicity Huffman
*Lester - Richard Jenkins

Felicity Huffman WAAY better than Meryl Streep for the role. Though my money would be on Gina Gershon.
other than that, I think you got it pretty well, except Id reverse the Amy Adams and Heather Graham roles. or possible Zooey Deschanel as Goldie Hawns character.
