The Beatles masters alone would probably take up most original budget of this film. Hal Ashby has two films with Beatles tracks, which is pretty unusual since they so rarely licensed their master recordings all through the 70s-early 21st century.
Most famous uses of Beatles songs in films are covers or soundalikes -- Royal Tenenbaums, Helter Skelter (tv movie), Wonder Years (tv).
