I was just wondering-is there a specific technique y'all are taught to shampoo someone's hair?

not really a technique, just tips on how to not wet the client, or spray water all over but still be able to get color rinsed out well and how to give a good massage.

Basic massage techniques. Use of finger tips and palms. For the most part it's in the fingertips.

A great shampoo-er never, ever gets water in clients ears!
