francois,
the songs i remember are "sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band" by the beatles, "mr. soul" by buffalo springfield, "manic depression" by jimi hendrix experience, and in the background a bit more faintly when warren beatty is about to get fancy with julie christie is "lucy in the sky with diamonds" by the beatles. there's another song in there but i don't remember what it is right off.

Don't forget that the film opens and closes with that one Beach Boys tune. Arg. I can't remember what it was called.

I believe that the song is "Wouldn't It Be Nice"

What is the title of the song by Paul Simon that was played in the Trailer. Do you know?

There was also Jefferson Airplane's, "Good Shepherd".

Also the Airplane's "Plastic Fantastic Lover" when Jack Warden hops in the Jacuzzi.

The instrumental song by Paul Simon that plays over a few scenes is Silent Eyes. This song was included on his subsequent album Still Crazy After All These Years -- with lyrics attached.

Feelin' Groovy was on the trailer, but I don't think it was in the film itself.

There's also a Herb Alpert and Tijuana Brass song playing when Felicia and George get it on.

"Silent Eyes" is one of my favorite Paul Simon songs, but I always love hearing its "roots" mixed in with the death of the 1960's, on a Beverly Hills vacant lot, high above the city, as George watches Jackie return to Lester and security...sad! You really think she'll return (maybe she does...after her trip to Mexico with him?).

Oh, the Tijuana Brass song when Felicia basically jumps the exhausted George is priceless!

This really IS a great soundtrack. Nothing is better than watching George chase Jack AND Jill through the gigantic party, to the appropriate Jimi Hendrix song, "Manic Depression"!

The band in the restaurant (the political dinner) (I don't think we see the band in the scene, we just hear them) is playing a lounge version of "Yesterday" written by James Paul McCartney.
