proposal scene?
does anyone know where that takes place, and also, the party, someone said it was above the tate house, would it be on davies dr?

shareFor a very long time, I used to live on Tower Road off Benedict Canyon. A very famous street in Beverly Hills where, at one time or another, lived Jack Lemmon, James Coburn, Elton John, Jennifer Jones, David O. Selznick, Katharine Hepburn, Michael Douglas, etc. Now I live in Santa Monica.

shareI know Summitridge very well. I have a friend who lives on Ferrari. Did you know Patty Duke owned a house at 1600 Summitridge which she rented to Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski in 1967? Obviously before the Polanskis moved to 10050 Cielo. When I was living at 1136 Tower Road in the 80s, I once jogged up to 10050 when it was vacant and for lease and took a look inside. Creepy. I went back in 1999 when the house was demolished and a new meg-mansion was built. My friend and I walked around the new house (in August-the 30th anniversary of you-know-what), which the owner hadn't finished building yet and suddenly decided to put on the market. Bad vibrations?

Yeah, I know that. I actually go up there a lot. And as for the tate house, i'm friends with the guy who lives next door, he actually made a movie about the murders,supposedly jeff franklin bought the house. I live in an extension of summitridge, next to beverly park. Why'd you live on tower, thing is.. i've been trying to go to the sebring house on easton forever, I can SEE it, but how do you get to it, do you know?
shareThe after party house "Jay Sebring's former house on Easton Drive" but when I looked it up on google street view it looks nothing like in the movie so I don't think its the same place.
shareI had always assumed that the proposal was filmed at the end of Kimridge Rd since they pull onto it at the end of 'the chase' and would provide the view down onto the house on Bowmont Drive that was seen in the film.
