Have you seen it on stage though? Because that's 3 dimensional people obviously. If a film isn't filmed to be 3D then it's only a post-production bit of trickery to give a slight impression of being filmed as a 3D film. I don't know if the time to do it would be worth their while, even if it'd worth some fans while.

Seeing it with a shadowcast that interacts with the audience as part of the show (all those I've met do) is far better than 3D. Not to mention RHPS isn't really about whatever's on the screen so it's not like it being in 3D would matter anyway...
