The Lost Gem of Nicholson's career

I saw 'The Passenger' when I was 14 and it blew me away. Now, we're fortunate enough to have the bulk of Jack Nicholson's 70's films on DVD but there is no sign of this one. I hope it doesn't become a Forgotten classic as has happened to other actors; Robert Redford, 'Little Fauss and Big Halsy; Al Pacino and Gene Hackman, 'Sacrecrow'. To paraphrase Jim Morrison: We Want it on Special Edition DVD and We Want It NOW!

Peace, Compadres.

Ya know what's really ridiculous about this? Nicholson OWNS the rights to this film! One would think that he would pull some strings and get it released on DVD but...

Do you think Scarecrow is a classic??

Well, about one year (10/28/2005) after you asked about it, The Passenger will be out as a Sony Pictures Classics rerelease, so I imagine a DVD release will not be far behind:
