Script drys up half way through

Lovely cinema photography especially towards the end where the camera slowly creeps through some iron bars on the window to Nicolson's hotel room, the bars are too narrow for a camera to pass through, but by either clever editing or some other ingenious method the camera passes through and then pans the landscape, very nice.

The script drys up half way through, JN recites a story about a blind man who regains his sight only to kill himself, JN didn't seem to believe it and neither will you.

Very skillfull editing regarding flashback etc and not at all confusing

A good film...it could have been better...but still a good film
