Similarities with The Limits of Control

I only watched this movie yesternight and while thinking about it today I slowly realized the many similarities with last year's "The Limits of Control" from Jarmusch. I'm surprised no one has started a topic on this on neither of the two boards.

Both movies essentially revolve around a man/criminal on a secret mission with political connotations, travelling through Spain with scenes of its architectural nature, accompanied by a mysterious woman.

It's been a few months since I've watched The Limits of Control, so feel free to add anything else in common, but I'd particularly like to hear some opinions on this obvoious Antonioni's influence on Jarmusch.
