Q re the Bonfire spoiler

Hi, sorry if this was discussed before.

That bonfire scene comes out of nowhere .. It is incoherent with the plot, since it pops up right after David Locke.s "death".
We see his wife Rachel walk out of the house half naked to ask what he.s doing, etc ..

Is it a flashback we are seeing ??

Further on in the scene, you see her staring out a window at the place where he set the bonfire.
