I was very disappointed. (SPOILER!)

This film is rated 7.7 on IMDB so I was expecting a really good film. What I got instead was long, slow, dull, boring, pretentious and incomprehensible. And the performances were very stiff like a bad rehearsal.

I had to come here to IMDB to try and understand the final scene, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus as to what actually happen. About all we know is he's dead. Very disappointing and a waste of time.

And don't tell me I don't understand or appreciate Antonioni. I loved "Blow Up", a fascinating film.

I'm sorry you didn't like it; I enjoyed "The Passenger" a lot. I even thought it was better than Blowup. But then, I watched Blowup again today and now I can't really decide which one is better!

Have you seen any other Antonioni films than these two? My favourite is probably L'Ecclisse.
