No, since the only sapphic element is Sara's innocent fascination with the celestial Miranda. Just because one girl seems to have sapphic tendencies doesn't make the 3-4 females who disappear lesbians, especially since that one girl, Sara, was left behind (not being permitted to go on the outing to Hanging Rock).

Because the OP said the supposed lesbians "ran off to live happily ever after." Yet Sara was the only girl in the movie who displayed sapphic tendencies and she wasn't one of the group of females who went missing.
