Part one and two are now on DVD-R at Amazon.com. Has anyone purchased it? What is the quality like? Is it full screen or widescreen?

Just bought both films a few days ago, and watched Part One tonight. It is widescreen and the print is really good. In fact, I'm surprised at how good it looks, since I doubt Universal put any money into re-mastering it. Haven't watched Part Two yet, so I don't know whether it's in equally good shape. Great, old-fashioned movie...

GORGEOUS DVD. DON'T WAIT. I just got mine today. You haven't seen THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN look or sound like this.

Just orderd mine today from Amazon.I this film on VHS but cant wait for the DVD to arive
