The Andy Warhol is screening this on aug 5th and 6th. I heard this is one of the most depraved films ever made, it is part of the "Films that corrupted John Waters" thing that they are having all summer. Waters was at the Warhol today also, very very strange but cool man.

This film had no redeeming value whatsoever. It was a racist piece of garbage made by people who wanted to incite racial hatred. The film did its' job well because as a result of this film, the increase in White women from the age of 16-79 being raped went up 27%. This a testament to the effect that Hollywood has on the general public.

In case you didn't notice, that white woman in Mandingo was Hungry for a taste of Mandingo and enjoyed every second of the Mandingo love. She wasn't raped. Get this through your head, the white woman seduced Mandingo!
As to the real racist trash, Birth of a Nation, all copies of that should be destroyed. That's the real film that incited racial hatred!

This film is hilarious but yet shows how some very ignorant whites of this era felt about Black people at that time and maybe a lot of ignorant ones still have those beliefs. Even though scientist have confirmed that we are all the same species from the same tribes (15) and state that evidence is growing fast that these 15 tribes probably descended from the same two parents, originating out of. The members who left home land, ventured out were and due to their environments changed physically and culturally. By the time we met up thousands of years later, we didn't know each other. But the undeniable proof that we are related is the fact that we can breed together. Any species whose DNA is too different can not breed. There is no existing people on earth incapable of breeding together; hence proof that "racism" is a mindless mindset perpetuated by the ignorant and stupid.

Where is your proof of the increase in the rape of white women because of the release of this film, white men rape white women too. The films portrayel of Hammonds hypocricy was brilliantly done, witness the superb ending.
