Anyone else thought that was hilarious? Never saw anything like it before or since in a film.

do you mean the scene where the guy was naked and hanging uside down. That was SAD not hilarious.

Actually, the sight of a grown man getting paddled on his large bare bum was a freaky sight to behold. Read the "Falconhurst" novels too.

Ah yes, the slavesploitation novels of the 70s. There used to be quite a few series, like Dragonard, and Christopher Nicole's "Caribbee" novels. Salacious goings-on down at the ole plantation. I know it's not PC, but they exercised on me a prurient fascination.

Imagine Beyonce bought at auction, and subjected to the paddle! Oh, I need to go take a cold shower.

I thought that scene was quite brutal and upsetting. It wasn't remotely funny at all!
