The pier scene

Man, oh, man. Where do I begin?

- they have a sniper at a vantage point, ready to shoot. Why didn't he kill Duvall when he started the conversation with Caan? Supposedly he's a great shot, he could just shoot him in the head and Duvall wouldn't even have a chance to pull the trigger.

- the guy they're supposed to escort is a ninja. Why doesn't he sneak attack Duvall when he was talking?

- they all hide in a building and... they turn on the lights, talk all the time, leave the building and shout to each other, revealing each other's hiding spots.

- apparently Duvall is stealthier than a trained ninja, since he somehow manages to catch one offguard!

- why didn't Duvall bring more people to do the job? You know, more than... ONE? Was he saving the "bad" ninjas for the final scene?
