Did they sleep

Do you think they got any sleep at all the night on the orca ?

reply

They probably took shifts/turns. The film doesn't show sleeping quarters but they may have slept on the "galley" table benches. Also the film doesn't show bathroom quarters but they must have had it, otherwise they'd be literally interpreting the phrase "poop deck"...

The way Quint was singing? Nah.

When I was a kid, we had a 28' cabin cruiser on the California Delta - the layout of it always reminded me of the Orca. At any rate, the galley table converted to a bed, which my parents used, and there was a small area of the cabin in the bow that was used by the three kids (I, being the youngest and smallest, had to be the furthest forward). Perhaps the Orca was similarly outfitted, which would allow at least two grownups to sleep. A third could sleep on deck easily enough (I'd guess Hooper, if I had to).
