Steven Spielberg cameo?

During the scene in which the Tiger Shark is strung up on the dock there is a thin man wearing a dark fisherman's rain slicker(hat included) and dark shades walking about. It definitely looks like the young Spielberg to me. There aren't any lingering or close shots of this guy, but he is certainly noticeable once you spot him. Seems to have a knowing smile/smirk on his face at one point. Just wondering if it has been confirmed whether it's Spielberg or not. I probably should check the trivia as well. Thanks.

Never heard of this so don't know. However, he is the voice on the radio that Quint speaks to before going after Bruce.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I heard that bit of trivia years back when the DVD was first released. So I guess one way or another he is in the film.
