With a lot of "older" movies being re-released on Blu-ray anyone know or heard of this gem coming out on BRay?

I drive real f'ing fast so try to keep up!!

nope ,no word on a blue- ray ,if it does get a blu-ray release ,lets hope its not a full screen version

Yes, it is now out on blu-ray and looks fantastic.

Screen Archives have the exclusive on all Twilight Time's Blu-ray discs. Sometimes people who have bought from Screen Archives try to sell the discs on through Amazon but the price is always higher . . . . naturally!

Walter Hill's second movie, The Driver, will also soon be available from Twilight Time through Screen Archives.
