Don't even like kitties, but what an appropriate ending line. Love this movie.

Chaney said "Hey, Poe. I got a cat back at my place. I want you to take care of it for me."
Then Speed and Poe talking about going down to Miami, followed by
Speed "Oh, he sure was somethin'."
Poe: "Let's go get the cat."
Speed: "Yeah."
I took that to mean they, in turn, we're going to do Chaney the "favor" of taking Lucy (Jill Ireland) along for the relocation (better, richer surroundings).
"Sorry. If I've not responded to you either it wasn't necessary or I've set you to Ignore."
I have 5 cats and I just returned from cleaning after 15 cats at a small animal shelter (where I got the 5 cats.) I really hope they DO take care of that cat!
