Giving a 5K to Speedy? LOL. The fact that he showed up risking his hard earned money to save Speedy's arse was more than enough but also giving a half of his stash to a guy who would sell his own mother for a few bucks is beyond inane and simply inconceivable.
Speedy only saw a piggy bank in Chaney, not a friend. A guys like him are too self centered and self served to have a friends. And that makes Chaney's gesture even more stupid.
He was showing how he was different from Speed. Plus Chaney likes to win and get money. Not a small thing. 💫🙌💰

Speed eventually saw more in Chaney than just money. Maybe. That being said, Speeds is definitely not the kind of person you would give that kind of money to for any reason, lol.
Chaney was a righteous guy, though. He was the better man. Still, giving 5K to Speed at the end was inexcusable? Hard to argue with that, lol. But Chaney took what he needed.
